Halloween Howler 2009

This is the seventh year we have organised a
Halloween event on Clayton Vale,
each year the attendance figures have grown until
this year they reached an amazing 2000

Youth Volunteers from Oldham and Manchester joined us as usual,
here they are trying to be scary.  Looks like they succeeded.

Dracula brought along his Halloween Lucky Dip for anyone
who was brave enough to put their hand in the tub.

Our resident Friendly Witch was on hand to reassure nervous children

and this 'not so friendly' witch, tried to scare the living daylights out them.

This jolly pumpkin came along to hang out with his mates.

Bang of the Voice young people, with their leader
Bridget Halliday from Eastland homes, created
a ghostly scene on and around the steps.

Another fantastic night with over 2000 local children and adults
brave enough to venture onto Clayton Vale on a Halloween Howler night.
We hope that you all enjoyed the experience,
we really appreciate your support at our events.

Manchester Leisure and Medlock Valley staff, Outlook volunteers,
Parktastic leaders and young people from PCCG/MAP
with parents and carers and GMP officers all came
along to give help and support on the night.

Thank you all, we couldn't do it without you.

Don't forget next years Quacky Races,
hope to see you all there.
