About this deal

It is packed with play features, minifigures, and vehicles and you can easily recreate the famous battle on the forest moon of Endor. To simulate the exploding end of the bunker, a pair of push buttons are installed on the roof of the entrance. As there are so many elements and minifigs in this set, I will break them down into individual elements to review on, ending with the massive 12 minifigs that come with this set. The walking function isn t very easy to describe, so I just link to a video from Toy Fair 2009 that shows it "walking". It includes a star-studded cast of characters including Han Solo, Princess Leia, and Chewbacca who have to try and destroy the imperial bunker with the help of Ewoks Wicket, Chief Chirpa, and Paploo.

I haven't looked at any of the R2D2s I have in years (because I only have a couple - one in unopened box, the the other has been in the X-Wing forever. The back of the box showcases the same features that are to be found in the back of the second instruction booklet: the AT-ST, the catapult, and the various bunker details. Many versions of the AT-ST have been released over the years by LEGO, and never once am I disappointed with the design of the chicken leg-esque balancing act. If you also possess the 2 Ewok Attack sets (released in 2002 and 2011), you may consider combining them with this set too to beef up the Ewok community.

Those panels that make up the side are actually just sitting there, but even after transport up and down two flights of stairs twice and to various rooms, they haven't budged. The bunker which housed the shield generator for the second Death Star was destroyed, and the Rebellion triumphed.

Finally, I get a set that can almost reenact the entire scene in the movie, with all the right props and characters (some Star Wars sets are guilty of including characters that did not even feature in the scene or very remote relationship to the vehicle they are tagged to) The first impression of this set is therefore. This set adds so much detail to the star wars lego franchise with the six different things you can make. I'm impressed by the AT-ST, which looks much better than the 2007 version, because of the way it's built. This version comes with the correct color scheme and articulated body, allowing the front portion of the bike some degree of freedom to swing side to side while turning tight corners. As Christmas trees are a popular place for toys to be found, Ask Toy Tech offers a brief history and pictures of the Christmas ornament tradition.

I have to say her green torso and blue pants do make a weird color combination and you will probably not see her making a fashion statement with this outfit any time soon. He also comes with a all black head piece, which forms part of his black visor when he dons his helmet. The longest time taken were for the construction of the bunker as there were quite a number of bricks when I opened all the 4 packs of "3". The photos of the Cobra walkie talkies showed you exactly what you were getting very good deal and work good to I am very pleased with my purchase . Minifigures: 10/10 (Six exclusive out of twelve make me happy; however, two stormtroopers could have fleshed out the set a lot.Although a battle scene, the fighting that took place in this scene felt much light hearted and candid as compared to those in Hoth, partly because of the Ewoks, whom by nature are adorable (Some might disagree). His grey body also sets him apart from his 2 other junior Ewoks, Paploo and Wicket, who are predominantly brown in color. Design: 9/10 (The AT-ST can tip over sometimes, and its 'walking' doesn't work the best; however, the rest is quite nice. While the frown-faced commando looks generic, I did manage to locate his counterpart in the movie scene. With sliding blast doors and an explosion function, the opening bunker crafted with this LEGO Star Wars brickset is as real as it can get.

End of part one, next part when somebody replies to this topic, because I made too many pictures as allowed in one post. The legs and the cockpit look much nicer, maybe because it's only made for one fig, as the 2007 was, but the new one has less space for the driver. My secondary school science teacher will be happy to use this catapult design to explain the chapter on lever and system, emphasizing on the impact of the long arm on its range. The bunker stands in the middle while Chewie watchs from his AT-ST over the scene, an Ewok flies over the bunker, a magic catapult fires itself and a Scout chases Wicket W. And sure, we could say the set would be better if TLC added two stormies to the lineup, but the set already has 12 figures. While I am not confident that I will open up the Ewok Village soon, I have stronger determination to pry open the seals on this 5 year old set. The bikes are identical, and are based off a brown three-wheeler frame; they also have a megaphone blaster on one side, presumably as a nod to the Endor chase scene.
